Spring Daily Detox Tonic
I’ve been having Apple Cider Vinegar every day for a few weeks and, while ACV already has a detoxifying, liver cleansing effect, I decided to amp it up a notch for a spring cleanse, so I made a Spring Daily Detox Tonic with ginger, turmeric, lemon and honey. I’m starting to take 2 tablespoons of this tonic everyday for a month. It’s gentle enough to kick the detoxing process into gear without being too intense for the body to assimilate.
For this tonic I used Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother. The Mother is essential. It is the live culture that transforms the sugars in the vinegar into vital probiotics, the healthy bacteria that boosts immune function and maintains the balance of flora and fauna within the gut and throughout the body.

Here’s how to make it:
Start with 2 cups Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother in a jar…
always use glass when storing vinegar…
Add 5 tablespoons finely chopped or grated ginger, another ingredient to support digestive health…
5 tablespoons of Turmeric, for it’s anti-inflammatory properties…
juice from one lemon for alkalinity…
and last but not least, three tablespoons of honey.
Fill the rest with water, put a lid on it, shake it up, and voila! You have a Spring Daily Detox Tonic. I’m having one tablespoon in the day and one at night, diluted with water and honey.
