The Practice
Through the practice of yoga we are able to maintain ease of movement, freedom, and peace in body and mind. Inner-cultivation through yoga practice allows us to feel a balanced sense of self, stability, and groundedness in the ever-changing experience of life. Not only that, but we are maintaining our whole well-being by caring for our beautiful vessel of a body and discovering our true potential in every moment.
Yoga can be the sacred vehicle of healing, transformation, and awakening that is calling you to your highest potential. We practice what it means to listen deeply to what’s true, to honor that Truth and to embrace our Whole selves, inclusive of both light and shadow aspects of ourselves, already complete with everything we need for our own transformation here within ourselves.
What I offer is a well-rounded experience of asana (posture) practice, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and free-flowing movement. I draw influence from many styles of yoga and spiritual traditions, weaving together a dynamic practice unique to each class. The transformational power of Tantric yoga opens us up to the fullness of who we are, while Iyengar sheds light on precision of alignment. Vinyasas are intertwined within static postures in the way of Ashtanga, and new traditions are continually brought into being by honoring our own unique experience of the sacred. Safe space is created for self-discovery and awareness to move our practice together, addressing your individual needs and meeting you where ever you are on your journey.
