A Journey Through the Five Elemental Energies

The practices of yoga, breathwork, and meditation help us attune to the subtle movement of energy in the body—energy that often takes form as thoughts, emotions, and ultimately, our actions. By cultivating awareness of these internal currents, we gain insight into how to restore and maintain balance in body and mind.

Grounded in the wisdom of Traditional Tibetan Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Buddhist yoga, this workshop introduces the five elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space —as core forces that shape both the physical and emotional landscape of our being. Each element is linked to specific patterns: for example, Earth relates to stability and worry, Water to adaptability and fear, Fire to transformation and anger, Wind to movement and anxiety, and Space to openness and confusion. These elements also hold the potential for profound wisdom when brought into balance.

Participants will learn how these elemental energies move through the body and manifest as emotional states. Through guided meditations, breathing techniques, and yogic movement practices, we will work directly with each element to clear energetic pathways, calm the nervous system, and support emotional resilience. The workshop combines teaching with embodied practice, offering practical tools for cultivating clarity, balance, and inner connection.
