Shiatsu is a gentle form, yet it goes deep. Sometimes deep into the layers of musculoskeletal tissues, but more often deep into the fabric of one’s being to unlock the latent potential for healing and expansion. Effortlessness is a key component of the effectiveness of […]

Mediating in community is a richly rewarding and inspiring experience. Because of this, I’ve felt called to invite my loving community to gather together in sacred space. Join me for a tea and meditation circle every 1st Sunday of the month in my home in northern Rogers Park, just off the lake.
Satsang means “association with Truth” and refers to a group of people gathered with the shared intention of discovering and honoring Truth. This Sunday Satsang is a beautiful opportunity for us to share our hearts over tea, our joys, challenges and revelations and anything we feel moved to share with the group for deeper reflection in this nurturing communal space.
All forms and levels of meditation experience are welcomed. Simply come with a willingness to be as you are and to sit in silence and contemplation. For this gathering, there will be no guided meditation. You are welcome to practice any kind of meditation you choose. This is an open space to share in silence and presence, to heal, awaken and enjoy time with dear friends.
Sunday Satsang – Tea & Meditation
Every 1st Sunday of the month, door opens at 10am
Our 30-minute meditation begins at 10:30am. Please arrive at least 10-minutes before meditation begins to get settled in.
All friends are invited to come before mediation and stay after for tea.
Please bring a cushion to sit on and a mug for tea.
To hold space, there is a suggested donation of $10-15
If you’d like to come, please email me at email@example.com with your name and any additional guests you’d like to bring and I will send you the address.
Thank you! I look forward to seeing you!

I’m excited to announce Laughter Yoga classes coming soon in March! While in India I had the opportunity to become a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader in the birthplace of Laughter Yoga. I can’t even begin to tell you how it has changed my life.
Laughter Yoga is a fun, accessible way to elevate the mood and relax the mind which improves our health, allows us to be more creative, have better focus and improves all of our relationships. It’s a joy to share these easy techniques that can bring us into greater harmony with the joy of living. Laughter Yoga taps into to the creative “right brain” thinking that opens us up to better problem solving and feeling fulfilled. The more we laugh, the more ease we can feel throughout life, especially through challenging and difficult situations. Laughter truly is the best medicine.
The Ocean of Bliss after Laughter Yoga Leader Training…
There are more than 5,000 Laughter Yoga clubs across the globe! Here’s a great video about it:
I’m looking forward to sharing this joy with you!
What’s in a name? Everything. Just as the musical notes of a melody carry vibrations that evoke certain feelings and moods, a name carries energy and meaning specific to each individual. My teacher, the living saint Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, also known as Amma (Mother), […]
